KEVIN & LORRAINE GROVE
Kevin served in the Armed Forces for 27 years. During this time, he gained valuable strategic business and financial management experience in various operational roles, both in the UK and overseas. Notably was his time in Sierra Leone as he was awarded an MBE for his valuable services to the community. Kevin gained a Diploma in Accounting with the Association of Accounting Technicians and completed a Foundation Degree in HR Management with CIPD.
Lorraine has over 38 years’ experience in various administration & management roles serving private and corporate business in fields such as legal, advertising & marketing, hospitality and welfare sectors focusing mainly on providing support and a valuable service to people.
On leaving the services Kevin & Lorraine purchased a franchise both looking forward to something new, they wanted to enjoy the freedom of working for themselves. It soon became apparent that there is not a great deal of general accounting information, given in layman’s terms, for sole traders ensuring they complete and understand their tax implications.
Together, with strong organisational and communication skills and by using both their previous and current experiences, it became clear they could provide a dedicated accountancy service.
